DVD+R Backup on PS2 Version 4?
 

Has anyone successfully copied a PS2 DVD game to a DVD+R disc? If so, what kind of media did you use?

I have an HP300i that only burns DVD+R/RW and would like to know if it would be a waste of time to try to make copies for my v. 4 PS2.

Also, does anyone know if Ritek brand DVD-R or DVD+R discs work on drives other than Pioneer?

Riteks work with any drive. Ritek dvd+r media is great, but your v4 ps2 might not be able to play dvd+r well or at all, as they didn't have very good lasers. If you had a v5 or higher it would be no problem. Give it a shot and see how it goes.
