what is the black psx what makes it different why is it so expensive

The only difference is that it is black and the # of available systems is limited.

i went to a site where it said black psx was for people who wanted to program there own games and it cost 700 dollars here it the site http://macintoast.8m.com/ then click on playing copies

Wasn't the black systems the ones designed for you to make games? I can't remember the name right now but it was something like Yahoo, Yarozy or something like that. They did cost quite a bit when they were first sold.
