Burning Permissions
 

I have been using Mero 5.5 for about a year now. I recently moved and when I finished setting up my computer, I found that I could not use Nero anymore. I keep getting an error message that says that I need to give Nero burn permissions. How do I go about doing this?

Any assistence would be most appreciated.

Have you installed Nero Burning Rights?
Nero BurnRights allows you to set permissions on what users can, and cannot run Nero Burning Rom. You can make it so All users have access, only the administrators, or members of the 'Nero' group

No I didn't mean it as a solution - I meant it as a possible cause of your problem. I just searched Google for Nero burn permissions and found that.

d/l nero burning rights, run it as admin, and then set individual user rights, or else nero can only be used by admins.

Where do I find this? I searched the net last night and tried some of the things other people suggested, but no dice.

Thanks for the info, the only problem is that even with the permissions control panel, it still doesn't work.

: If you select "Members of User Group Nero" you will be asked to agree the generation of a new user group "Nero". Every change of the Rights Level Settings requires a reboot (including the reset). Now you can add users to the group "Nero".

Yes, I tried that. It did not work.
