Getting rid of Pause between tracks?!?!?

Ok since I cant burn a gazillion MP3s onto a data Cd I figured I would just burn each one seperately. Well Im wondering how do you get rid of the 2 second pause between tracks? Cause the songs are connected. In other words where the first song ends the 2nd song begins so really they are the same song but seperated into 2 tracks. But thats like that on the whole album. The first 5 tracks can be one song. then 6-7 together then 8-11 together then 12 by itself.

When in Nero, right click on a track and choose properties. You can then change the pause length from 2 to 0 there.

yes I know but I when you go to burn it, it says CD specifications allows only 2-3 seconds pause for the first track' and 'Pause length between the tracks not supported'. I also tried the thing where it says 'Cross fade with previous track and it doesnt support that either. Is their any software that I need so it will be 'supported'. It seems kinda stupid cause I cant have any gaps between songs that link together. Also is there any other program out there that wont give me these gay ass problems that Nero does? Cause even though it doesnt support the pauses it sys it needs to fix them so I did it anyways and good thing I clicked on simulation cause it aborted it. It said something about not being able to finish endtrack or something... I dunno. What burn program do you use.

Ok I tried changing my settings to 0 seconds and got the same error. I came across an option for "no pause between tracks" and tried that and it worked. I am using this piece of crap Nero Express that came with my burner.

Have you tried burning in DAO mode yet (Disk-at-once) instead of TAO. This should eliminate pauses between tracks (as long as there is no natural silence at the beginning and end of the tracks of course).

wheres this option? I think I just have regular Nero. The icon says "Nero - Burning Rom". Doesnt say anything about nero express. Oh wait I do nevermind. Ok I see it. It is only used in DOA mode. Ok lets try it...

I see no differences between Nero and Nero Express.

Now, I'm testing Feurio! and I'm very happy of this product, from my point of view. The only limitation is that on my second PC (an old Pentium II 266 with 192MB of RAM and a Waitec Storm 40), Feurio! does not manages my CDRW correctly (this is known, because it was not in the "HW compatibility list" of Feurio!).

Thank you for your interest.

Alex

The only real difference between Express and regular Nero is the layout. I don't particulary like the simplified look of Express, as I am very comfortable using regular Nero.

you will get a error with nero if you set all the pauses for tracks to 0 but for a disc with no pauses set all tracks to 0 pause except track 1. the pause gap you set seems to be at the begining of the track not the end so a pause at the start of track 1 isn't noticed. hope this helps
