PS2 Copy/Backup
 

Im probably seemiing like a big dumb ass and this topic has probably been covered many times but i cant find it on the site:

how can i copy/backup ps2 games and burn them onto a 4.76gb Blank dvd when PS2 disc are bigger than 4.76gb. is there a program someone could foreward to me. (i have a dvd burner and dvd burning software(nero)i just need a program that will rip and compress the games to fit onto a 4.76gb)

This should be in the ps2 section but I can help you here too. There are only several games that are too big to fit onto one disc. Xenosaga and Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance are two of them. There is no rip kit yet for MGS2S, but there is one for Xenosaga. The problem is nobody knows where to find it and it is supposedly a full game download, 4.38 GB, and not a kit to compress your original.

If i have a chipped ps2, will a direct iso copy of a game on dvd play in my ps2?
