Xenosaga down sampled FMV, quality?

I have heard about a version of Xenosaga with down sampled FMV sections to make it fit onto a standard DVD. Does anyone know what the quality of the down sampled movies looks like? any comparisons?

.. I have heard its been compared with some PS1 games?

Thanks

i have xenosaga rip and its not that bad. you can tell its downsampled but it looks good.

I heard that it was not a public release of the rip kit and you must buy the ripped copy. I could be wrong though, but at least it gave me a reason to stop looking for it.

I've got it on HK silver and it looks fine.

Find a site that does HK Silvers and u can pick it up on DVD-5 for about $5 and it will back-up onto dvd-r.

( providing u also own the original of course!)

Regards
