Magic 3.1 and Action Replay 2 v2
 

I was just wondering...i don't know if this has been covered before but i'll ask

I got a v4 ps2 with a magic 3.1 chip. I got a AR2v2 a while back and i wanted to use it with my backed up games...It always stops at the "Updating Code List...Please Wait" bit....

Is there a special way of booting into this...I think i saw one (for neo 2.2) will that method work with magic 3.1. If not can someone tell me step by step

Why do you need to use AR v2 with your magic chip? Does action replay have a code function like gameshark? You should not need to boot games with an action replay disc if you have a magic 3.1

He wants to use AR2 for codes. AR2 is just like GS2. In fact, Gameshark days are over. Only Action Replay is being made now. Not sure why it isn't working. Just try messing with it. Try different games, different codes, and make sure the codes are correct.

That would be why I couldn't find gameshark at wal-mart.

If the Magic doesn't boot the AR2 disc, that's kinda weird. :(
