Stupid sbox/neokey
 

I got an sbox/neokey for my ps2 so I can use some of my old ps1 backups until I get some cash to have someone mod my ps2 with my messiah 2 I bought. Well, the thing is giving me problems because its not doing its job:mad: It wont boot my ps1 games, even tho they should be working just fine. I have a V7 ps2, and the little sbox has no version number, but I thought it worked on all ps2's. Anyone got any idea's why it isnt working?

I am affraid you have just wasted your money. The Neo Key/Sbox will NOT work on a v7 machine. Your best option, which isn't very good anyways but is good enough for playing your ps1 backups is getting a no solder mod and the swap magic discs.

Well, I know alot of kids with older PS2's, I can just sell them it and then use the money towards having someone install my messiah. Thanks for letting me know they dont work on v7's, although it would have saved me some time and money if the site said they didnt .
