NTSC & Jap NTSC?
 

Is there any difference betwenn NTSC and Jap NTSC. I cannot play any of my PAL games on my modded (Messiah 2) US PS2 - I'm using a Jap NTSC TV. And no, patching doesn't work. I use a standard AV lead - would an S-Video lead make any difference?

Please describe the failure symptoms. I play PAL games all the time on my US PS2. A JAP TV is no different from a US TV.

If it's a colour/rolling picture problem, well that's well covered on this forum with the SEARCH function. Bottom line in this case is that if your TV cannot resolve a 50Hz signal (what comes out with a PAL game), then you won't see the PAL games properly.
