TDK or not TDK??
I've just bought a new batch of TDK Reflex silver (CD-R74CMEC rated at up to 16-speed) and I've noticed that the dye colour seems to have changed from the usual mid-blue to a light blue-green. According to CDR-Identifier they're TDK OK but I'm not sure. The previous batch were rated at up to 8-speed.
Can anyone confirm or deny they're genuine TDK and not the dreaded Ritek? Thanks. GK |
cdr identifier checks the atip, doesnt it? feurio can be used for confirmation, if you want another atip software reader.

@Green Knight:
What's wrong with RiTEK? The CD Media World site is years out of date and RiTEK have significantly improved their media over the last few years. I know because I've done testing on many RiTEK CD-R's, both Cyanine-based and Phthalocyanine-based. In fact, RiTEK media is now so good and is built so well that it is my opnion that RiTEK is now better than the old TDK Cyanine. Please have a look at these tests on RiTEK CD-R's done by Dolphinus_Rex: http://www.digitaldolphin.netfirms.c...CD-RIntro.html http://www.digitaldolphin.netfirms.c...CD-RIntro.html A more frequently used CD-R Media discussion forum is located to http://club.cdfreaks.com if you are interested.
