Can I use dvd-r's....
Can I use dvd-r's rather than putting all my games on the harddrive?? does this make my xbox dvd rom go bad fast or is it like using originals??
That wasnt exactly what i was asking, I was wondering if my xbox DVD-Rom, gets more broken when I use DVD-R then when I am using originals...... Other than the load times getting shorter i mean!!! Is there any other positive sides to using the harddrive???? |
Yes, your xbox will recognize dvd+r's. I've been using these brands, and have not seen any errors. Memorex, Maxell, FujiFilm.
Hope that helps |
Yes the XBox will read both + and - media type DVDs, not sure about DVD RAM though. Good thing its not as picky as the PS2. :p

Bestbuy was having a sale this week. I suggest you go check it out.
I don't think it can use dvd-ram. If it could, those $90 burners would be more commonly talked about. But I haven't tried it so I dunno for sure. |
yea im gonan be goin for that sale
get some good stuff there |
LOL I would go check it out, but there isnt a Best Buys for 150 miles of this hick towm. The next best thing we have is Wal-Mart...

Ya tell me about it. We don’t even have a Circuit City. Have to drive outa state and to Las Vegas for the nearest one…
Its not that big of a deal to drive to Vegas though. I have family there, and computer parts are cheap. LOL whats really sad is I don’t even live there and I know my way around Vegas, better then alot of people. |
