PS2 DVD Loading Problems
 

Hi,

I have a problem loading DVD games using a No Solder V5 mod chip and Action Replay 2.30.

I have followed the booting procedures listed on this forum about changing a code so it updates the code list, but when the tray ejects the original game is still spinning, subsequently the backup does not load.

I have tried a friends older version of AR2, which uses the Dave Mirra codes trick and that works fine.

Also I can load CD-R games without a problem.

Any clues?

i had loads of problems until i got swap magic discs which work great on all my dvd games

Mr Slippy, you might want to look into getting an older version of GS2/AR2. Stay away from the swap magic discs, as these don't work with all games.
