Desert Combat Mod NOCD

Believe it or not but the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942 does not work along side any cracked version of BF1942.
The only way to play it is to play using original executables and an unmodified "Mod.dll" hence you have to mess around with cd's.
Does anybody know of a work around for this.

Mmmmm... IIRC you'll need a specially cracked mod.dll for this to work. Some crackers forget to do this additional work, and you get cracks that won't work with mods. Your only hope is either that someone cracks it better, or you can use Alcohol120% to make a hard disk image and mount that. I'm using the last technique, and I haven't had to insert my cd nor apply any crack since v1.0. :D

What does that mean? Some new net-chat or something? :confused:

Learn your net-speak, Mony. It's IIRC = If I Remember Correctly. Same as IHMO = In My Humble Opinion. Or LOL = Laugh Out Loud. All the hip kids do it :D

Mine works with the same crack I had befor I installed .03 Mod.

That IIRC has puzzled me for a while now... thanks for filling me in. :)
