Help on spotting fake chips..
 

Well i stumbled on a site which gave out info on how to spot out fake chips u may order. So give it a look so u dont get ripped off. Maybe this will reduce the number of threads with concerning people saying " Is this a real chip or clone"

Good site, trouble is that u don't usually know u have one until it already in your hand or worse still in yr PS2.

Only 1 thing, it showed matrix2 chip ther and gave it a good spanking, my m8 got matrix2 chip and has had no snags with it at all. Says it's the dogs b*ll*cks but then he would wouldn't he!!

Simple answer, stay away from all magic chips, genuine or clone and stick to messiah 2! The master of modchips.

I had to install one a couple weeks back that ... well it's the second one in the 4th row on that page - the one in the bag. :)

It worked just fine.

Is it a clone? Yes, definitely. I knew that right away.

But does it work?

Well, yeah - as well as any Magic3 works. ROFL.
