Question
Can a usa apple chiped PS2 play PAL game backups?
Thanks |
Yes, however you will need a tv that supports a 50Hz signal or a pal/ntsc converter
|
What if you were to use the messiah color fix when installing an applechip?
|
I dont think that'll work cause you're using an apple chip
I might be wrong but that's my educated guess:D |
No, u should be fine. It's not the messiah colour fix, its just the colour fix.
Just do the NTSC colour fix on yr motherboard and u should be fine, remember if u want all games in ntsc then link colour fix to 3.5V. If u want all games in pal then link the colour fix point to ground. |
Another question I have been wondering about. When I had the magic chip installed in my PS2 it did not require the color fix point to be taken to 3.4 volt to play pal games properly. Any clue why? Is this built in to the chip?
|
the colour fix will not work on a ntsc console with a ntsc (60hz only) tv.
|
oh ok
I was just wondering is all...
I'll be playing Us and Jap games neways and I know Japanese games are 60hz like us so I should be fine. |
