Which Half-Life release is the best to use?
 

Hi, I have to Half-Life releases here from this year. One is from Xanadu and the other is from MUDS. Now which one is the right one to burn and play with?

I would say MUDS one.
But I didn't play enough to know.

The thread in which we talked about it has disappeared.
MUDS rip is commonly known as a Xanadu "repack".

I've compared main files, and it seems there's the "patch" that makes Urban Chaos run at 60 Hz...

Intersting! Any chance to add that string to your pal-patcher?
Or at least generate a patch comparing the different bytes between the Xanadu and MUDS binary?

Unfortunately, I've got the same files for Sega Rally 2. Enuff is the one who said he's got a 60 Hz SR2. I've asked him for some help.

I didn't receive anything else (your 1st mail didn't reach its goal).

I'm working on that famous WinceOS string.
I've found some similarities, but still can't say that anything works...
