psx backup problems
 

i got a no solder modchip for my Ps2, and im having trouble playing backup psone games, i know that its the right chip, im just not sure what i should do, im new to backup games.

Did you follow this boot procedure?

• Boot GS2 disc 2.
• At the main screen, select START GAME and then select WITHOUT CODES.
• Once the GS2 is asking to change the code archive, press the EJECT button till the light changes from green to orange.
• The CD tray will now open and you can replace the CD with your backup copy.
• The CD tray will automatically close after about 5 seconds.
• Wait till the the power LED changes from orange to green again and press X now to start the game.

i don't have a game shark, assuming thats what gs2 is, and by the way, i already installed the modchip, that wasn't clear in my first post.

Correct. GS2 = gameshark 2. You need a GS2 or swap magic<----(these suck)

i have swap magic already, does it work with psone games?

It shouldn't be a problem. I have never used them, but I would imagine the boot method would be the same what I posted in my previous post.

I made a backup of tekken 2 using cd copy 2.0.3e and toast but it will not boot when i start cd copy it says adjust to track at once and i clicked no is this right?
