No CD Patch For BF1942 ??
 

Hi guys trying to get the no-cd thing to work with BF1942 I get a download with a .rar extension ???? How do I use this to play with out my cd?

I've used several differnt cracks (I even uninstalled and reinstalled for each one). None work... like it tries to load BF1942 but then I get an error sound and it just goes back to my desktop (using 1.3 patches after using the actual 1.3 upgrade).

I have no idea what could be wrong.

One thing... why is there a XPACK1 subfolder in MODS under most archives along with a BF1942 subfolder? I've tried both versions of the mod.dll if that makes a differance -- otherwise I copied them directly (patch data\mod.dll -> patch data\mod.dll, etc).

Uninstalled and re-installed? Did the game work with the original CD in?
