Any Arx Fatalis 1.16a no-cd/fixed exe?
 

have been waiting for this for a long time but doesn't seem to be able to find it.
any idea? thx in advance

Sadly no one has cracked this one yet.......if one of the groups should do it rest assure it will be on GCW :-)

It could also be that the next version, 1.17 is the one that gets cracked...

I am afraid that 1.16a is the last one, i chould be wrong but 1.16 was ment to be the final patch, then that patch made a complete new bug and was fixed in the 1.16a.........but then again i have been wrong god knows how many times :-)

Mplayer-Warlord is true. 1.16 was ment to be the final patch, but a new bug appeared so 1.16a went out.

but nobody want to crack it :(

Yes, if someone can help get this cracked, I'd be eternally gratefull. I am still playing this game, and have to put the disc back in now and it's getting annoying already. I know I could make an image and all that. I will in the end if necessary, but I'm sure a crack will surface eventually?

Sorry, it doesn't seem like the crack groups want to crack this version. Now are you SURE it's the last version that'll ever get out ? And what was it that it corrected in comparison to 1.16 ? It may be better to just stick to 1.16 if there are no real showstopper bugs in there. Or maybe they'll eventually release a 1.17 patch and that may get cracked....

Evidently, this is the only difference between 1.16 and 1.16a.

I Don't know if it is a showstopper bug or not, but if it's not then Rincewind, is right, just stick with 1.16.

Well I already patched and have been playing with the CD in, so I'll just have to continue doing that I guess. If it get's too annoying I could reinstall and just patch to 1.16, but I suspect that would cause problems with my savegames. I'll just keep looking around and hope someone eventually cracks it, but I may be done with the game soon anyhow. Thanks for the advice.

i can't even find where to download the 1.16 patch as the official site has replaced it by 1.16a.
anyway, i guess the bug isn't a small one otherwise they wun bother to release another patch just to correct it. it will be good if someone can crack it :p
of coz it's best if an official 1.17 patch is released though i think it's quite unlikely to be so :(

The v1.16 and v1.16a EXES THE SAME!

The 2 update patch executes (5,8 megs) uses the
Wise installer, I just UN-PACKED and compared the
v1.16 and v1.16a ARX executables.
So, the ANSWER FOR YOUR QUESTION was really easy:
the 2 executables was NO DIFFERENCES! Simple use
the v1.16 FIXED EXE from GCW (or from any site as you
knows) for the v1.16a updated game.
(Anyway the exes was really trickies: has Securom and
The Slovak Crypt-packer together...).

Right, anybody tried this out ? Combining the 1.16a patch with the 1.16 crack ?

that's what I'm using, the 1.16a patch with the 1.16 no-cd, no problems here but I'm not finished with the game.
