I'm not 100% sure what you're asking but...

To copy a PS2 game, you put it in...

You extract the image to your hard drive...

And then you burn it again.

Of course you need a MOD chip to play it.

You CAN copy on the fly BUT it is HIGHLY rec. to copy it to the hard drive first, so in case you encounter a error... you haven't wasted a disc......

Follow the RecordNow Max tutorial at the top of the forum in the "stickys"......

Then you should have no problems.....

the tutorial is the way i have been doin my backups but was just wondering if i could 1:1 them....but anyways now i have a new problem in the middle of a game my screen goes blank and my ps2 reset button flashes(red)very fast? what could be the problem.....btw bill installed my mod chip and installed a new laser and changed the disk spin motor....now what could be my problem?

I don't think you understand what 1:1 means.

I think he means he used the "make an exact copy method":)

*sigh*

Yeah, I guess.

But copying to the hard drive FIRST, is MORE exact than on-the-fly. :)

Yeah. "Make an exact copy" is all I ever use though. Keep doing what's workin for ya.
