Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 v2.8 No-CD???

Hi

Is ne1 aware of a NO-CD crack for the update of RCT2? The latest version i downloaded from the infogrames website is version 2.8. Any help is appreciated, as i'd really like to update the game.

That patch has this description on the official website:

This patch specifically addresses an issue customers may be having with the game exiting to the desktop when they try to launch it, particularly immediately after the cursor on-screen briefly turns into an animated CD. If you are experiencing this problem, you might want to download this patch, apply it, and see if it helps.

Note that this patch addresses NO other gameplay issues. If you are able to launch the game now, you do not need this update.

Unless this happens to you and you NEED that patch, I would advice not patching and just using the old nocd. And no, I couldn't locate any nocd for 2.8, and there probably never will be one because this patch isn't a general patch, only for the people who can't start the game.

they call it v.28 That could be 2.28 or 2 build 28 or something.
The patch is only 1.3 MB and it's a minor update. Protected with SecuRom 4.8.
