TOC Limit
 

I have a V4 PS2 with a Mod Chip, Some of my burned games wont load. I heard that some chips wont load a game with a TOC over 80 Minutes, My Chip is a no soider. If this i correct what chip should is get.

The Solder Chip cannot load games with a TOC over 74 mintues i think?

The chip, I and everyone esle will recemmend is the Messiah 2.
It will boot dvd-r and cd-r no problems at all no need to worry about size etc..

If you have a no solder mod then I suggest you use the swap magic 2 cds.
They enable booting of dvdrs (and cdrs) with one swap rather than 2 when using action replay 2 as the boot disk.

However,
They are not perfect, You'l find that cd based games boot fine (unless they're rips or EA games)

Dvdrs are another matter though, They do boot MOST games but some refuse to boot....such as David beckham soccer, Prisoner of war etc a few more to name which have been said already..(Do a search for my name and you'l find a old list.

To be fair all new titles have been booting fine with no problems but if you want the assurity of a machine to boot everything then buy a messiah 2 (and co).

The swapping bothers some people more than others but to be honest, no matter how much i wanna play ps2 when i'm drunk *or other alternatives*lol:p It just isn't gonna happen.... and i don't trust myself with the originals in the state i was in last night:rolleyes:
