3.1 chip
 

i need to know if i already have a modchip in my ps2 can i take it out ? i need to know what version ps2 i have and i just bought the 3.1 mod chip can put it in my ps2 after i take out the other one? can some also show me a diagram on how to put the 3.1 into ps2? thanks conair

remove the cover to the expansion bay on a 30001r, if you only have 2 screws then its a v4, 3 screws it's a v5.

no u dont have to open the ps2,expansion bay cover at back of ps2 just pulls off
