Dms3 Help Please!!
 

I've got quite an odd couple of problems, I just got my unit (Jap 15000 + DMS3) back from Bill and I thought all was well......until I tried to boot a cd backup and a PS1 game. PS2 original DVD imports and domestics boot fine, all PS2 DVD-R backups boot fine, all PS2 cd originals boot fine (although the laser makes ALOT of LOUD noises - another problem I'd like some advice on) but PS2 cd backups, either full cds or rips begin to boot, i.e. I get the "PLAYSTATION 2" screen, fades to black like normal, then just sits there...sounds like the laser strugles a bit, sometimes hear a couple of clicks then nothing..........just sits there on a black screen, I don't even get to the RSOD just black screen of nothingness....
The second problem is when I try to boot in PS1 mode, i.e. hold the "O" button when I turn the system on, I get nothing but a black screen, not even the initial splash screen with the rotating light thingies....nuttin but black...
Just for info's sake, I've got DMS v.1.2
Someone help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused: :( :mad:

If it's clicking it means that the lens is trying very hard to read the game, which can damage the lens overtime.
