Hi. Just wondered if u know of any cheap places that will install my messiah 2 chip for me? i live in nottingham,uk btw. if someone else comes accross this plz tell me too. This is my situation.

my ps2 was broke since to damage from my attempt to install it, i drove to stoke-on-trent to Kanection and they ring me up 3days l8er saying they cant fix it, so they sent it back. They also said that if u contact the folks at Playstation they could get it exchanged to a working one at £65. So i did that now im waiting for the guy to come on Tuesday to do the exchange. But im not giving up i want it installed. Im not sure if i have messed the chip up, they didnt look at it. But im hoping its okey. anyways...any places u know?

im situated norwich (not that far),i was had someone come to pick up ps2,he missed his train,i took him home in the car :confused:

Dust is a total nutter. But the poor ph*cker had to listen to Dust rabbit on all the way home!

how fars is norwich from nottingham then? cause i don't want my ps2 to break again. And how much? if u dont want to do it, do u know of any shops that can do it cause Kanection are charging me £85 to do it (too much)?

u supply your messiah 2 so install only £50,what version ps2 do u have (i gaurantee work for 3 months,if i kill your ps2lol i buy u new 1

Okey £50 is fair i guess. Ill just look around abit more and then ill contact u again i think , cause other places are expensive. Any clues to if my Messiah 2 is nakerd cause im not sure if it is or not. it has to brown circles on it which looking at the others should be silver. But i dont know.... there is still solder hanging of some of the points. Damn i hope it still works, ive emailed u back btw dust. Version is SCPH-30003R.

Also i want to do the quickeist way possible, is it quicker going to norwhich and driving for 3 hours and getting it done by dust in he says a 2 hour job, and then driving back. Or just taking it to a shop?

Can't go wrong with Dust2dust. Did mine, works great.

The two most important things you need in an installer : (1) Some one who knows what the hell they are doing (2) Can be trusted.

That equals Dust2dust.
