Sorry silly rabbit, you need to make a backup from the original CD that you purchase with money.
Im guessing you're new to this, downloaded warez are not exact copies of originals. The exception possibly being 'clonecd' wares, dont know. And while your question may be possibly legit, it most likely is not. |
No I put the game onto my hard drive from my cd and now, I want to put it on a blank-cdr to back it up.

My apologies for my assumptions.
You might get more responses if you post what copy protection it uses. And what settings you used in Clone CD and Alcohol 120. |
The game is protected by SafeDisc v2.8, I used datatype SafeDisc v2.8.. What other settings do you need to know?

Just put the NoCD fix on it, it's available through GCW. Then you can install the game and put the CD away for safe keeping. Or put a fixed .exe (also available from GCW) on it if you actually want to use the CD to play. (Why?)
Did you LOOK at the files on the disk? Usually it will have a folder on it called 'crack' or something similar already on it. Use that. Sometimes it will make it a NoCD'er, sometimes it just bypasses the CD's protection and you still need the disk to play. It depends on the person that "cracked" the game. |
