WOW! Please Help!

Ok, just got a new PS2 but had a blown out laser, so I switched them, this worked, but here are my questions that hopefully some of you VERY smart and intelligent PS2 people can help me with:

. Makes a rattle noise when I turn on.
. Wont load DVD games, but its a new laser.
. I want it to work, PLEASE help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
. Does not load CD Games fast.
. V5 PS2 and a V7 laser.

Yes, a v7 laser will work fine on a v5. You might want to try cleaning the laser with a disc cleaner, the ones with little brushes on them.
