command and conquer generals
 
i have burnt both discs installed the game applied various different no cd patches but the game just runs really slowly any ideas anyone cheers mark??

'burnt both discs' ? You mean you made a BACKUP of BOTH your ORIGINAL BOUGHT discs, right ?

How much slower than when you run it from the original CDs?

Buy an better PC....Perhaps this will help you LOL.

But now i got an question:

After Installing the Game under XP i played a while. Now the game wont start anymore. It says, that there is an Direct X error (Missing Version 8.1 or Grapik is not right). But everything is ok. Direct X is right and Drivers are also right....After Reinstalling the same Probleme!!!! Dont know what happend....Has anyone an Idea? Please help me....


P.S.: Under ME there are no Problems (@ the Moment LOL);) ;)

exactly what did you use to copy the game with? i got a no cd patch running, now i need fo figure out how to copy it. what programs did u use. steps would be helpful, thanks. if you wan you can PM them to me. or post them in a new message, a lot of us are looking to make a working copy.
