backing up Splinter cell
 

clony reports no prot on disks 1 & 2, and safedisk on the play disk (disk 3).

I have tried the recommended settings with clonecd 4.2.0.2 and also tried others but cannot seem yo get a working copy. does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you read the FAQ at the top of this forum? It will provide some useful hints and tips.
Also, have you considered the ATIP check? Try playing the game in a non-cdwriter or use the Hide CD-R Media function of Clone CD.

You may alternatively find that Alcohol 120% is better at copying the latest version of Safedisk than Clone CD.

I have been able to make a working backup using clonev4.1.0.1 and clonyXXL v 2.0.0.6. There are two versions of the v2.0.0.6 but i have had more success with the smaler version @ 567KB.
