making a bootable cd

i have a zipped game that i want to burn to a cd...it is copy protected.. is there any way to convert it to a raw image format so i can use clonecd to copy it and make a bootable cd? thanks again

Depends on what you mean by "zipped game"

If your zip file isn't a compressed image file from clonecd or similar, but is instead just all the files seen on the disc in windows explorer, then it is unlikely that you'll get a working copy.
This is of course dependant upon what burner you have, and what game it is.

i see what you mean...i just unzipped to a folder then used cd creator to burn them and named the cdr what the cd is called ...it boots up and installs but when i try to play it says put the cd in error 1001 .....what am i up against in getting this working? any clue?

In which case mate you're probably screwed as you only have the files (and maybe not even any hidden ones) on the cdr, and not any info from the disc which may be part of the protection mechanism.

And I'll repeat what I said for the cheap seats!!

I can't comment precisely cos you still haven't told me what burner you have and what game it is!!
Kinda hard to give help if I only have limited info about the problem.
