How To Create Xbox Multi Game Dvd Discs

MULTI GAME DVD DISC
This guide is to help you in the creation of multi game dvd discs for your xbox.
this guide also assumes you already have evolution x "aka evox" installed on your xbox and a ftp programme of your choice installed on your pc.
you will also need the following programmes.

1.record now max 4.50 ( to burn the finished image to dvd-r)
2.isocraxtion version 1.2 (you will need to obtain a copy of gdfimage.exe from else where and paste it in to the main folder which contains the isocraxtion.exe file.)

first you have to transfere your chosen games in to temp folders on your pc hd as you would if you intended to use the "DATA BURN METHOD".

then start isocraxtion by double clicking on the isocraxtion.exe file.
once the programme starts click on the tab at the top of the programme labeled "multidisc" then click on "multidisc wizard". once you have launched the wizard click on "add folder"
or "add iso" depending on how the game is saved on your pc.
if it is saved in a folder as you would for the DATA BURN METHOD double click on the folder to enter it as the programme requires the default.xbe file. then press select.

you can do this several times as there is a bar at the bottom of the programme which indicates how much of the disc has been used.

once you have the required number of games on the disc click on "create iso's"
and select the destination for the finished iso file.

once you have your multi game iso image you can choose to burn it as a iso or if like me you don't like iso's. you can use the iso extractor built in to isocraxtion.
once you have extracted the iso to a temp folder simpley burn it as you would a "DATA BURN". with recordnow max
the finished result will be a xbox multi game dvd-r disc.

i didn't know if i explained it noob friendley enough.
i am way better at explaining these things verbally rather than written but it looks ok.

im not a nobb even tho i only did like 3 posts....what games need u to use 2 discs?

dude 09-03-2003 14:18

i have not personally come across any xbox games spread over 2 discs. this guide was written to help those who like my self wish to put more than 1 game on to a dvd disc.
i have personaly created 20 multi game discs. ranging from 4 games to 2 games per dvd-r. using the above method saves on putting games as small as 700 mb on to a 4.7 gb dvd on its own.

I assume you can burn a multi-disc like this with Nero?

dude 22-04-2003 03:06

yes you can use nero but you have to configure it to work with xbox games.

i personally use recordnow max as in my oppinion it's the best software for burning xbox games.
don't get me wrong i love nero but for xbox games i preffer RNM

if anyone is intrested ...

Some titles are just over 4.7gb, and dont copy onto the DVD-r without removing the demo`s, or other features ..

Other titles are @ 3gb, and it makes it difficult to back 2 of them up to 1 DVD.

I downloaded a program called " Blink Video compressor "; most of those MS videos can be compressed to 50%, without a noticable drop out. You can also apply this to in sequence video`s.
