X2 Lite or pro?
 

Hi, I just got a new Xbox and I want to know which modchip should I buy?

X-Ecuter 2 pro or 2 Lite?

Is the difference between the 2 just a switch?

Also has anyone had any problems booting group releases isos with any of these 2 chips?

I have a 1.0 console I believe since is dated July 30, 2002.

I was having problems with my other Xbox 1.0 and X-Ecuter v1 modchip. a lot of group releases Isos would freeze and the "in game reset" option did not help.

I don't want to get a matrix either since my cousin has the exact same problem on his 1.0 console + matrix modchip.

Or is it just the 1.0 consoles having the problems? Otherwise I'll return it and see if I can get a 1.1 console in case mine is 1.0.

the difference between pro and lite (i think) is the flashing bios

as for the mod chips they should all boot any game as long as it has been burnt right...knowing it the group iso you downloaded has some corrupt files on them hence why the games kept freezing

Theres nothing wrong with your modchip.
As clarky pointed out the game(s) you downloaded have corrupt files.

Your best bet to get a nice copy of the game is to buy it, then make your self a back up.

Don't download games. It’s more of a pain b/c most of the time they just don't work right.

Now I’m not telling you to do this, you will have to use your own judgment on this.
Go rent the game and copy it.
