Hearts of Iron 1.03b?
 

Has anybody found a way to install this patch, with or without a fixed .exe(if there is one) without getting the error "game is not installed"? I've upgraded it from 1.01, up to 1.02(PAN). But now it's giving me this stupid error and I'm about to lose it over here.

Have you tried reinstalling the game and then immediately patching to 1.3 ?

Yes in fact I got desperate and searched the paradox forums on how to uninstall properly. Uninstalled, cleared TEMP folder, erased reg keys, the works. Then tried to both install 1.03 directly or patch up in the right order, but no dice. Isn't there something else I can do in the registry? I'm stumped :(...

Mmmmm.... does 1.03b indicate it's kinda of a beta patch ? If so, maybe it's the patch itself and you'd better wait for the following official patch. Or maybe it's the wrong language version ? (You probably already checked this kind of stuff, but I can't think of anything else to try)

I still can't figure out what the problem is. I managed to get the zip version of the 1.03 patch, which is almost as good. So I'm satisfied :). But thanks for your suggestion! I guess I'll wait for the 1.04.
