The Lord of the rings

Does anyone know how to burn a copy of Lord of the rings? I know that the security code is securom new v.4.83.55.0008. I have clonecd, nero and alkohol, but I canīt figure out how to do it.
Does anyone?:

You can only make backups that cannot be copied themselves. This is because of the Securom protection. Check VLuka's faq sticky for details.

It is not possible to make a working copy of Lord of the Rings. Vluka's faq does not work

And just on what do you base your statement ? I haven't got LOTR, but AFAIK any securom new title CAN be backed up with Alcohol120% or Blindwrite. You can't make an exact 100% copy, but you can make a working backup or run it from the hard disk.

I base my statement on the following.....

I created a ccd image with alcohol120%
I created a mds file with alcohol120% then converted it to a bwa file with bwa builder.
I created a patched ccd image using twinpeak
I burnt to cd
It DID NOT work.

I used every program and followed every step that Vluka's faq suggested but it did nothing but waste my blank cds.

Just what I thought. Just because it didn't work for YOU, doesn't mean it doesn't work for everybody else. I'd suggest some possible solutions, but since you seem to have made up your mind....

hohner 02-04-2003 10:14

Yeah, just what I thought.
You don't know any possible solutions. I've done everything to the book and it doesn't work, now you're stumped.

No actually, I do know at least ONE never failing method to backup. I've mentioned and explained it about a dozen times in the half year that I'm here, so I'm sure mr Search Button will be able to help you out :D
