try copying it to your hdd

saulin74 05-03-2003 20:49

Well I don't have that game but try this.

Put original on drive.

Use Evox HD game install util to put the game on the hard drive.

Now got to Evox options and make sure you turn "In game reset" off in all 3 different places under the Evox options.

The game should work this way from the HD. If it works fine. From there it all depends on the FTP transfer. If files get corrupted then there will be problems.

So far this method has no fail me with backing up originals. However running game from HD has failed me with some isos downloaded.

Example: Genma Onimusha, Panzer Dragoon and Dead or Alive 3.

Either movies will freeze, or game will freeze starting the game or just a black screen as it is the case for DOA3.

However like I said. If you got the originals this method of copying to the HD should work fine.

okay i already just put it in a folder on the e drive and treid to exe the defualt.xbe

and same results i did it from the ftp though back to that dir.'

this Evox HD game install util where is it on the xbox i don't seem to find it.

is it maybe another plugin ?

maybe i am jsut missing it but could i get a wuick step by stepper

saulin74 06-03-2003 16:20

Well it came with my Evox install CD.

Search for "Px HDD Loader" I have version 1.0a

TylerDurden 06-03-2003 17:38

Instead of making your games as Data Discs you may wanna use ISOMAKER to make your Xbox games.

k

i will try the iso but i haven't seen that work yet is all ... iso kinda suxs the data has worked on all the backup s i have which is about 20

TylerDurden 07-03-2003 15:34

I dont think ISO's suck. I use ISOmaker which uses the same program that Xbox uses to make their games. I have noticed that the games load up faster and have fewer glitches.

has anyone had any luck running this game from the HD yet ??

Quall999 08-03-2003 14:20

I wish I read this earlier. Try turning off all 3 IGR's in the evox settings. It conflicts with this game, along with Vexx.

wizzer 08-03-2003 16:59

i got the game on the HD by using the HDD loader utility ... it works. Now i would like to relocate the game into the Evox game folder, but i dont see it when i brouse the directories ??

Any one know what format the game was saved in, and if its even possible to move it ??

Quall999 09-03-2003 04:27

It is possible to move it, as long as you know where it is. Didn't the HDD loader give you an option to specify what drive to put it on?
