Need help with OF and Max Payne copy
 

i got operation flashpoint (german) and max payne (us)
from a friend copied by clone cd
it workss fine o his pc (win2k)
but its impossible to install it on mine (win2k too)
i tried everything!!
i tried to install it on my brothers computer (win98se) but there it doesnt work neither
but there comes another error
on my pc comes a crc error and i cant copy it on my hd neither (a crc problem too)
and on my friends pc of works fine but max wants a disc 0
does anybody has an idea what i could do?

Could be an imperfect copy made in a burner on your friend's pc which will only work in that drive. (e.g. plextor 8432 is an example)

both are safedisc2 which are highly hardware dependant to copy 1:1.

Will these games install from your cds onto your friend's pc?

yes the cds install on my friends pc who copied it for me
and they work on another friends pc too
but i dont know if they have the same drives

ok guy this falls under my problem i made a copy of max payne it worked in my plextor at the time and in my friends acer 8x4x32 but not in my friends with a plextor same modle as mine and according ot crispy it was the atpi check
