Steel Tide won't work
 

I have the original cd of Steel Tide (infogrames) but the game won't work : after a successful installation, when I try to play, all of the logos appears but the main menu won't. It is somehow not the right image that is shown instead of the main menu image and all I can do is ctrl+alt+del or alt+F4. However the sound seems ok. I have a geforce 4 mmx with all the recommended stuff. I have updated the the driver of my card with the Nvidia patch. The official site of the game has no pacth available.

1st TRY to set Z-BUFFER OFF in the configure
menu it will ABSOLUTELY out the game on DIRECTX9
(exit to desktop if ON)

2nd TRY to the DESKTOP resolution!
