Disk Read Error
 

I just got my first coaster and i wondering whats up
i try to back up Dark Cloud 2 i uses my riteck disks which i made over 200 Ps2 games with and 10 Xbox games with. I uses my sony DRU 500a (G) with recordnow 4.5 i saved at the min then burn at 2x.

All other games are perfect does anyone knows what happen its there something special about Dark Cloud 2

my dark cloud 2 loads fine i have not played it all way through but it loads up just fine i burned mine at read speed min and burn speed min and i used pruple bottom ritek dvd-r maybe try at slowest speeds then it may work

Bad burns can happen. You are lucky to only have 1 after 200+ burns. Try cleaning the disc and give it another go.

U got to be careful about burn speeds. It is possible to overburn the write surface if u burn too slow.

Iif u made that many burns then it could be that your dvd writer laser is coming to an end!!??

Ii used to burn everything at one speed but run into probs with some 2X media. Although everyone says it better to burn slow I always burn at two speed onto DVDMaster 2X media and have not had a problem yet.

Then again, might have been a gash disc, gotta try it again just to be sure. U do get gash discs occasionally. I have had about 3 iin 200 but u can usually tell by looking at the write surface for flaws!!
