Smackdown shut your mouth

I have made a PS2 backup copy of smackdown and it played great with no problems. Then all of a sudden it wont play It wont load up at all. My other games work ok. The games are put away in a safe place when finished with so no harm comes to them.
What could have happen Smackdown?

I have discovered that it will play cd based backups but will not play games copied onto dvd disk. These dvd backup games worked b4.
What does this mean?

Uh oh.

Ok, we need to know what version PS2 you have. What mod chip you have.

And take bighap's advice, and get yourself a DVD cleaning disk. I bought a Phillips Magnovox disc at Walmart for $12.

I also recommend this one, a UFO blows up planets on your TV while your ps2 gets clean. :D
