Playstaion 2 MPEG 1 or MPEG 2?
 

Quick question.........Will the playstation 2 play MPEG 1 or 2 OR BOTH?
Also can it play any other format?????

What format of Mpeg 1 and 2? I've seen a vcd player for the ps2, but i haven't gotten it to work, but i haven't tried much. Mpeg2 works if you convert it to dvd format, and burn it on a dvd.

I use TMPGEnc personally. The DVD converting feature only last for 30 days though, so you either have to reinstall it or pay for it. Cinema Craft Encoder, LSX MPEG Encoder, MegaPEG, and Main Concept Encoder all work great too, so I've heard.
