your mod chips

i have ordered from www.gamegizmo.com but have found cheaper dtuff at mod chips inc. where do you get yours from?

L-dubb 24-02-2003 11:34

It depends on what chip you want. But gamegizmo is one of the more expenseve sites. What chip are you looking for?

bighap 24-02-2003 11:35

I bought my Apple from www.modchip-sbox.com. If you want a Messiah 2, buy from charlie_ps2 or dust2dust for $58.

jack2042 24-02-2003 11:38

im getting the v4 no sodler mod chip i know you probabply reccomend the apple or messiha or whatever but for the say 40 dollars difference ill go with what im getting plus i dont like soldering (not sending to bill)

bighap 24-02-2003 11:45

Do you have a Gameshark 2/Action Replay 2 or swap magic discs? Cause you need those in addition to your no solder chip.

bighap 24-02-2003 12:06

It's a v4 according to pauls site.

jack2042 24-02-2003 12:08

but at the site you gave me it said its a v5/6

bighap 24-02-2003 12:13

Yes but the picture of how to tell the difference between a v5/v6 shows that you have a v5 if you have that screw. If you have no screws like you say, then you have a v4. Read the green text there before the v5 part.
