this is what info comes up from clone cd, i have read up on what is needed but still cant seem to ascertain for certain whether this drive will support copies of SafeDisk 2.x games. I have the originals and copies are for my sole purpose.
From what I gather I may need a newer CDRW to be able to copy some of the newer games, I tried copying Mafia last night and it copied the games ok except for disk 2 which it timed out on right at the end even at 2x. If I do need to get a newer drive then I will but I need to know if I use this drive with CloneCD 4.2.0.2 will I be able to make working copies of games with SD 2.x protection ?

I have just installed clony XXL from:

http://www.kickme.to/Englishclony

and it appears to be half in german and half in english, is there an english version or does the english version still have most options in german?

Many thanks. :D

Have a look here
What you want is to have two sheep in the EFM Coding column. Your drive appears to have none. This means that it cannot copy Safedisk 2 perfectly 1:1. Such things such as Clone CD's AWS feature or Alcohol's Bypass EFM error feature may help you make an almost 1:1 copy.
Failing that, you will have to use cracks.
