Is the protection SafeDisk 2.8, as reported on the main GCW site?

but i have backed up other safedisk 2.8 games this one shouldnt be any different

Have you tried with Alcohol 120% ??

I've a backup from the german version. Did it by the old way, CloneCd.

I didn't know that the game has been releas in the Germany.
Only rumors say that have been reales in the UK and it only have been reales in the UK....hmmm :rolleyes:

No rumours about its UK Release, saw it for myself today in HMV Birmingham. Very nice looking cover it has too.

Don't tell me you buy your games because they've got nice cover art ? Bounty, you're ENCOURAGING those freaky marketing types ! :D

Nahh, only used to do that when I had a Master System and a Mega Drive. The only reason that cover was 'nice' looking was because it stood out inbetween SimCity 4 and some Sims game.

Anyways, the Covers/boxes for games these days are just plain dull compared to the covers from the best period ever in gaming, The 16bit Era.

Just to confirm...

IGI2 (UK) Disk 1 is Safedisk 2.8, and backs up fine using Alcohol 120%, using Lite-On burner.

Disk 2 is unprotected, but needs an 80 minute CD. Tried overburning a 650 mb CD but just too long.
