tired of swapping disks w/ sbox
 

who can i contact to get a modchip that does not require a Gameshark or Action reply. I am sick in tired of swapping disks with my sbox and also it is locking up at the screen when i push the x button. please reply to this post I am in NY and would like someone local that i can get the chip from and install it.... email me at [email protected]

hey thanks for the reply. i appreciate it. do you have any idea how much they cost? i always see posts about these chips and they seem to be worth it. cause swapping discs is a pain. my sbox seems to be going bad because i have to turn it while the gameshark is loading. if i do it to late the game will not boot up. thanks so much for all your help....

The Messiah 2 can be ordered from Charlie_PS2 or Dust2Dust....
I beleive they are selling for $58.00 (shipping included in that price)

Then you would need to send it to Bill and let him do the install...
Price for install is $60-80 dollars...(Depending on what version PS2 you have) The earlier consoles are ALOT harder to fit a chip in.. That is the reason for the price difference.

thats a crap chip any how i got a no solder mod swap it works fine not to much swaping has to be done an't that chip made by neo them chips suck

I got a 3500 ps2 can i use the no solder mod
how hard is it to install and how can i remove the sbox
for that one instead? is it as simple as unplugging the
switch box or do i have to cut the single soldered wire?
get back to me i am interested.... where can i find that mod?

If you are now considering a no-solder mod......

You need to ask someone that has one..... They can give you more info on it than I can...

I don't like them, don't rec. them, and personally wouldn't have one.......

There are quite a few people on the forum that can help you with you questions regarding that mod....

there simple as can be to install took me about 4 mins and they work great now about the sbox i dont know nothing about them or how to remove 1 what ver gs2 u got i got a gs2 ver 2
