DMS3 mod and others
 

out of all the chips which one one you put on a v4 american ps2? i have been reading alot about the DMS3 and the Magic 3.1. but many say that the massiah is the best. i really have not tryed any i just want the bang for my buck. i want a chip that is a great chip that will not give me any problems with the boot or anything.. please help guys.. i cant make up my mind...

messiah 2 pro thats the chip i would get or even just the messiah

If you are talking bang for your buck definetly go with the Messiah 2. Talk to Charlie PS2 or Dust2Dust. They can get you a chip for $58 and do the install if you wish. DMS 3 may be a better chip, I am awaiting one to test it out. It has extra features other chips do not have, like the ability to play Divx movies and MP3's. But at around $80 does not compare to the value and well proven reliability of the Messiah.
