Recommended PC Specs
what are the best pc spec's to have for copying dvd's
me and my cousin are looking to backup out dvd's and we want to make sure the specs on our pc's are good enough |
There are no best specs but here is what I recommend at least. 128 megs ram, 20 gig hard drive, and 750 mhz processor.

Hey Big,
Just a note. I am running 512mb RAM, 733Mhz, P3, with only a 13GB hard drive. I will still do a 1 DVD backup in about 58 mins. What is the complete time that yours will do a 4.2 gig single DVD? Just wondering. |
Same as you, a little less than an hour. I have a 750mhz P3, 192 ram, and a 20 gig hard drive.

I'm using a Toshiba DVD-ROM to read from and I have the output disc ready box checked. It's pretty nifty. Big, you get my PM?
|
Yep.
|
I made a complete backup on 1 dvd of "the good girl" in 38 mins using a Verbatim disc.

|
Hey bugzy, he primarily uses dvdxcopy. He just got dvd2one as well and has used that too. I really think you should give dvdxcopy another go bugzy but with the newest version available now, 1.4.1
