Just been reading all of the info on the DMS 3 chip on their site.

Is this for real?? Seems too good to be true!:)

If its the real deal, can anyone in the UK supply them yet?

Please, list each facility of DMS3 and tell me how YOU would use it and whether you need that facility.

I'll answer for him, No, even if he tried, he'd never use it to its full potential, and when he sees the price he won't even consider it!

I just fancy having a PS2 that could run DivX players and MP3 files from the memory card and it is also flash upgradeable so that I wouldn't have to shell ut for a new chip at some point in the future.

Btw, you mentioned cost, what is the projected price?

Thats not TOO bad. Reckon it'll be ~£300 pre modded.

In your opinion, should I wait for this chip or just get a Messiah Pro 2 now?

OMG, you can't ask my opinion it causes countless arguments lol. I have no interest in buying this chip until it is well reduced in price. Order ur premod from me quik b4 dust sees lol.

Messiah used be £65 when it first arived. People paid then and will pay now and someone will get rich.

I'm biased and would be expected to say that for £35 the Messiah 2 is better value.

But then to use the Memory Card feature you'll need a new memory card (£25). So it gets a bit more expensive.

However if that's what you need, when released, DMS3 will be the only chip to do that.

It all depends on what you need.

We don't need it m8 - we're gadget freaks who get more new toys than the kids ;)
