Wanna Buy ToshibaR5002, but should I wait for 8.5GB DVDBurner?

I wanna buy this R5002 DVD-R becasue it can burn Safedisc2 protection and DVD. My question is that will the 8.5GB DVD burner comes out in the next few months?

Also.... I wanna make backup of PS2 games on DVD-R. Does all the PS2 games disc size less then 4.7GB?? Anyone know? Please tell..

Don't expect a 9 gig burner to come out for quite a while. Buy your Toshiba. Besides, the prices will be ridiculous for a 9 gig dvd burner when they are finally released. Not all PS2 games are under 4.7 GB. Xenosaga is one of them and they will be many more coming soon.

Geez, can you imagine the price of the 9 gig burner???? I will hate the day that most PS2 games will be over 4.7 gigs! More disc swapping.
