60 Magic3's fitted with no reports of freezing
 

I thought I'd share this with everybody. During a conversation with http://www.playstationfix.com/ (also based in Hull) Harry claims to have fitted over 60 Magic3's with no freezing problems whatsoever! :rolleyes:

Has anybody else had this level of success?

Are these 3.0, 3.1, or both? Kinda hard for me to believe.

No m8 just Magic3! Surely you don't doubt his credibility? ;) You could always email him to check!

I have had no problems with my magic 3. I realize it is proven to have bugs but so far so good.

me too, when i was first was gettin my mod-chip installed, i was hesitant on the fact that it was a magic 3.1, but i have backed up many games, including vice city, without having it freeze once.....i understand that there might be problems with it, but for me it has so far worked perfectly....

At least 60 people haven't had any problems.....

well i can say factually that of the 60 he says he has done i have fitted the piggyback pic chip to at least 15 of them after ppl ringing me and explaining the situation after being fobbed off saying it is the games that are faulty, when we all know the magic 3.0 where buggy, nothing that the pic or a switch wont fix though.

Thanx for that PS2Moduk, how many of those thought they had the Messiah2 fitted? I know at least 1!

Those of us in the area that do the job properly are seriously disadvantaged by the negative vibes created by this scammer!

yep thats true he states when u ring up that he charge X amount for fitting his messiah 2 chips when in fact he is fitting magics now thats just not on, i tell my customers they are getting judus or magic depending on what i have in, i dont like to put down other chippers but he has no aftersales skills at all once he got the money in his sky rocket he dont care.
I know of at least 3 ppl who took the machines back saying they hardly ever pick the disks up he puts in one cd and if it boots he tells em nothing wrong etc, now i know because he is fitting magics u normally just change wire 'W' and this helps the machine pick up all media also sometimes a little tweaking of the parralax will set the laser right.
Most ppl who chip machines get most of thier buisness thru word of mouth and when ppl come back with these stories all it does is harm your buisness, hence the reason for good aftersales.

Not just that m8, These peeps are telling others not to get their machines chipped because of the bad experience!

Also is your PS2 a V7? V7 = as in one of the newer ones?
