comanche 4 help

I'm trying to copy comanche 4 with the instructions found in this thread: http://fileforums.com/showthread.php...light=comanche
I have been looking for a no/cd fixed exe to use but can't seem to locate one for the version game I have v1.0.0.8
Does anyone know where to find it or have one?? Or is there another way of doing this?? Really appreciate any info on this

G'day animal_ized,

Why not just
Update To The Lastest 1.0.1.15 Patch & after youve installed the update Grab The 1.0.1.15 Crack for it .........;)

1.0.1.15

So I would do this how?? Open my clonecd image of comanche in cdmage, replace the exe with the update.exe?? Then do this again and replace the exe with the nocd.exe?? Does all this sound right?? I've never use cdmage before so not sure how I would do this.....Greatly appreciate the help I see the 1.0. 1.15 crack is a "backupcd" crack....is that like a nocd or what is it?????thanks again

What you need to do is write that CloneCD Image you have back to a CDR Disc. Open CloneCD & select "Write From Image File" - select / browse to the image & write at say 8x.

Once youve written the image back to the disc - Install the game off that disc, (Select a LARGE Install) then execute (Double Click) the patch youve downloaded to update the game to Ver. 1.0.1.15, (takes a while to update) then replace the original c4.exe with the cracked exe you've downloaded.

In other words you dont need to copy either the patch or crack to the CD. Just create your commanche disc & install the game & run the patch & crack after.

"backupcd" crack should work like a No CD just replace the c4 exe in your game folder with the cracked one.....;) From memory when I started the game it still asked me for the CD - but click cancel & you should be right to go !!

Hope that helps.....
